We are looking for a person with strong technical skills in Computer Vision, Software Development and Remote Sensing.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Data Team, your mission is to develop state of the art algorithms to process the raw images that we receive from our satellites into the final products that we deliver to clients. This involves developing algorithms for image stitching, registration and calibration among others.

Our clients customers need access to the most recent high-quality satellite imagery in order to accomplish their goals, which could be identifying illegal logging operations, determining the ideal time to harvest or fertilize a crop, or monitoring large-scale infrastructure development.

Profile

University degree.
Industry R&D experience in at least **two** of the following fields: Image processing, Machine learning, and/or Computer vision.
Being able to explain technical details of previous relevant projects.
Proficiency in Python.
Willingness to learn new skills.

Highly Desirable

Experience in cloud computing.
Advanced degree in remote sensing, information science or any other related field.
Industry R&D experience in remote sensing image processing.
Industry R&D experience in remote sensing image analysis.
Proficiency in Geospatial data processing libraries, e.g., GDAL.
Experience in using geographic information system (GIS) software, e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS.
