We have an opportunity to join an exciting growing NewSpace company who are helping towards the sustainability of our planet.

You will be in charge of troubleshooting, maintaining, and developing every aspect of the IT infrastructure, on-premise and in the cloud. Your long-term goal is to make the infrastructure highly available, ever more secure and automated.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, automate and deploy the evolution of the IT infrastructure
• Design, test and deploy disaster recovery solutions
• Perform regular security audits of the infrastructure
• Provide responsive technical support to users world-wide
• Maintain the IT infrastructure in excellent condition (servers, network, backups)
• Shop for and communicate with providers for a wide range of services
• Assist other teams with their technical needs

Profile

• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Patience and pedagogy with users, partners and providers
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong Linux experience (Debian servers and Ubuntu desktops/laptops)
• You are fluent administrating cloud infrastructure (AWS) and embrace the IaC paradigm
• Good knowledge of security in a business environment
• Good knowledge of Docker
• Basic knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server
• Will to automate and document tasks (ansible, powershell, python)
• Strong will to learn new technologies
• Bilingual French and English

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering or other relevant background
• 5 years of experience as a system administrator or helpdesk in industry
• Ability to obtain Canadian government security clearance (Canadian Controlled Goods Program)
