Reporting to the Vice President, Programs, you will contribute directly to the operational success of Xiphos. You will leverage your organizational and communication skills to define means of monitoring supplier performance and to direct these suppliers according to priorities. You will be backed by a technical and management team of the highest caliber in a supportive and team-oriented environment. You will build mutually-beneficial long-term relationships with key suppliers. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Supply Chain operations at Xiphos
  • Master the data and leverage performance indicators to inform and define all supply chain strategies
  • Ensure Xiphos’ stock by initiating and following through on the necessary actions both internally and with suppliers
  • Establish and maintain win-win relationships with suppliers while being responsible for the entire procurement cycle with suppliers, from RFQ to on-time delivery of fully compliant products
  • Collaborate with multiple suppliers for the manufacture of Xiphos’ high-tech electronics, including Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabs, Contract Manufacturers (CM), conformal coating service provides and electronic device OEMs and distributors
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and committed delivery dates with suppliers
  • Establish and maintain internal tracking tools/reports to detect issues early and ensure the correct actions are taken before they adversely affect Xiphos’ operations
  • Forecast future needs based on current and upcoming projects and product demands to ensure sufficient inventory is available
  • Manage impact of current world electronics shortages on operations, as well as identify and manage any other risks and opportunities associated with the supply chain
  • Coordinate Xiphos technical experts and management to ensure that suppliers have all required inputs in a timely manner
  • Identify new suppliers based on requirements and needs
  • Manage commercial aspects of agreements with professional consultants
  • Report to Xiphos’ management on all Supply Chain operations

Profile

  • 6 + years of supply chain or project management experience in high-tech industry
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in definition and implementation of methods to monitor and control critical details related to all phases of procurement life cycle
  • Ability to detect issues early and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (or other spreadsheet tools) and/or Microsoft Power BI and/or Visual Basic and/or Database Management (SQL or similar)
  • Ability to collaborate with team and work autonomously
  • Must be able to obtain Canadian government security clearance
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Previous experience with export control and logistics
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP
