Our client aims to become a global company that delivers complete missions as a System Integrator. They connect industry, academia and science centres from all over the world. Their plan is to collect geological data and uncover the unknown about the Moon surface and subsurface.

On their behalf, we are looking for a Space Product Assurance Engineer that would join their team in Brno and get their hands on the various projects currently planned and executed. Your mission would be to participate on project and supplier reviews, performance of audits and reviews, evaluation of materials used on Space Projects, as well as quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Participation on project and supplier reviews including review of data packs, submission of review item discrepancies and supporting the engineering teams in determining an appropriate review outcome
  • Processing the supplier Major Non-Conformances and participate in supplier review boards ensuring effective and appropriate resolution of the issues
  • Performing audits and reviews (processes, materials, design, manufacturing, testing, qualification) with suppliers and customers
  • Responsible of writing and releasing quality documentation
  • Evaluation of the materials used for Space Projects
  • Review and approval of project documentation (including drawings)
  • Responsible for managing Deviation Handling (Non-conformance reports and Request for Deviation/Waivers)
  • Responsible for quality control and follow-up (including quality inspection of hardware upon arrival, during production, integration and testing and prior to delivery)
  • Responsible for cleanliness and contamination control, certificates and protocols control
  • Defining PA/QA requirements
  • Performing inspection of supplier hardware as needed, involving review of documentation, general verification of the build status and overall inspection
  • Perform the Incoming and Outcoming inspections
  • Participation in Integration and Test campaigns

Profile

  • Bachelor’s in relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in product assurance
  • Proven flight heritage
  • Previous experience with ESA or other agency projects
  • Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports
  • Fluent in English
