Our client, aims to become a global company that delivers complete missions as a System Integrator. They connect industry, academia and science centres from all over the world. Their plan is to collect geological data and uncover the unknown about the Moon surface and subsurface.

On their behalf, we are looking for a Space System Engineer that would join their team in Brno and get their hands on the various projects currently planned and executed. Your mission would be to manage projects according to ECSS and the internal project handbooks, be responsible of meeting deadlines, systems engineering development lifecycle and change management processes, risk management etc.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects according to ECSS and internal project handbook
  • Keeping deadlines, control outputs and their quality
  • Communication with customers, suppliers and partners
  • Involvement in company strategy and management
  • Management of development, qualification and delivery of the assigned spacecraft/ system/ subsystem
  • Responsible for systems engineering development lifecycles and change management process
  • Responsible for operations concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control
  • Responsible of test methods and plans for new developments through final product deployment
  • Responsible of simulations and analysis across spacecraft/ system/ subsystem functions
  • Responsible of spacecraft/ system/ subsystem requirements tracking and verification techniques
  • Developing interface specifications and other design documents in collaboration with team members
  • Lead the customer and team meetings while facilitating technical exchanges
  • Participate in Verification and Testing activities
  • Assisting with Program Management, schedule tracking and Product Management

Profile

  • Bachelor’s in relevant field
  • 6 years of experience in system engineering
  • Proven flight heritage
  • Previous experience with ESA or other agency projects
  • Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports
  • Ability to manage relationships between the technical team and the customer
  • Fluent in English
  • Passion for Space
