On behalf of our Canadian client GHGSat, we are looking for B2B Content Writer. Their constellation of satellites orbits the globe monitoring industrial methane emissions to support climate action today with accurate data. They need your content and marketing skills to translate this powerful data into stories their customers can relate to and motivate stakeholders to act on climate change. As B2B Content Writer, your focus will be to transform the way they approach their target markets through content. Highly attuned to the customers needs and motivations, you will tailor communications to increase the effectiveness and volume of their outreach. Your expertise on content strategy and execution will drive quality traffic and generate leads.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the lead general manager to create compelling content for ads, emails, marketing collateral and all parts of lead gen campaigns
  • Write crisp, SEO friendly copy for website pages, industry blog posts and landing pages
  • Build sales collateral by vertical and product, to be used by sales team for client pitches and content campaigns
  • Build user and product content for internal, client onboarding and training
  • Create whitepapers, reports, newsletters, customers stories to communicate the power of our emission data and services
  • Work with branding agency and designers to communicate complex concepts effectively on sales supports.
  • Collaborate with their PR agencies around the globe to accelerate content production
  • Review and proof front-facing content such as press releases
  • Research on target audience and collaborate on the elaboration of personas with marketing team
  • Be the guardian of the brand expression voice and tone to ensure consistent message delivery throughout all channels

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ year of SaaS experience or within a technology company
  • Proven experience in executing content-focused marketing plans
  • Expertise in content planning, writing & storytelling
  • Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills in English, fluency in another language is considered an asset (bilingual English and French environment)
  • Sensitive to data feedback from campaign monitoring to improve content strategy
  • Cross functional experience, working alongside Sales and Marketing
  • Must be able to pass security clearance for Controlled Goods Program

Desired:

  • Proficiency with SalesForce Pardot and LinkedIn Navigator
  • Prior experience in developing high yielding lead generation content campaigns
