Sapienza is looking to hire an experienced Test Manager in the UK. The incumbent will be accountable for the production of all programme related test documentation and collateral, including Test Strategy and methods.

It is a 12 month rolling contract.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the production of all programme related test documentation and collateral, including Test Strategy and methods
• Risk management and effective documentation of testing
• Management of the full testing life-cycle
• Management of multiple projects in parallel
• The ability to assess requirements, propose and implement a strategy which delivers an efficient, effective and high quality testing service to meet/exceed customer’s expect
• Review suppliers test plans and results
• Effectively utilise the test team to perform tasks efficiently
• Ensure effective reporting of test activities from multiple organisations
• Manage all hardware and software requirements prior to testing
• Defect management and future proofing of testing through automation
• Release management alongside all testing duties
• Management of the test team

Profile

• Experience in a testing role – with experience of both manual and automation essential
• People management experience
• Experience of managing suppliers
• Experience with release management
• Excellent understanding of the full SDLC and Waterfall, hybrid and Agile frameworks
• A PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalently qualified in similar project management methodologies
• Experience of PMO tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Based be eligible to work in the UK
