Sapienza , a tpgroup company,  is embarking on an exciting journey and we sit at the heart of the space sector. We develop our own space software called ECLIPSE which has over 20,000 users. We also provide consulting, digital solutions and engineering services across the full lifecycle of mission and safety critical programmes in Critical Infrastructure, Defence and Space sectors.
 
Working within a business’s Human Resources department, this role actively supports the organisation and the needs of its employees. As the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across Europe.  As the contact person for both Managers and Employees you will provide information and advice on workplace regulations and employment legislation.
 
As a small team we support employees in the Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Italy and North Macedonia.  We are responsible for keeping HR operations running smoothly, ensuring our managers and employees have the right tools and resources to do their job efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Well versed in European labour law with an emphasis on the Netherlands and France
  • End to end support for sickness, including (in the Netherlands) Arbodienst contact and UWV reporting
  • Advising managers on case management and absenteeism
  • Interface with employees for any day-to-day communication regarding holidays, salary and HR policy
  • Coordinate, advise and complete full process for Maternity, Paternity and Parental leave
  • Administrate new employee pre-boarding actions, orientation and induction
  • Day-to-day performance management guidance to managers
  • Drafting HR documentation for review (Contracts, Policies/Processes, Correspondence etc)
  • Provide advice and contribute to work reviews and change processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices
  • Consulting on issues related to workplace relations
  • Continuous improvement in work relationships, increase productivity, morale and retention
  • Advise new employees on relevant local registration
  • Advice and support for relocation across Europe
  • On-going maintenance of the company personnel databases
  • Keeping up to date with Employment law changes and reporting to Line Manager
  • Analysing incoming correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Cover all HR tasks across the team when required

Profile

  • English & Dutch proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Good communicator who is able to explain things clearly and in a professional manner
  • Empathic, open and positive attitude
  • Result driven, ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work load
  • Good work ethic with focus on accuracy and reliability
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, with commitment to continual learning and development
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent telephone skills

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 3 + years’ experience in similar role an advantage
