Sapienza Consulting is recruiting an Export / Import Compliance Support to work on-site at ESA ESTEC. The Compliance support will manage the necessary documentation for the movement and disposition of space hardware with regards to ITAR, ECCN, FSTEC, REACH. This position will be temporary to begin with, but a long-term extension is possible.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management;
• Disposition of mechanical and ground segment equipment;
• Export control;
• Project scheduling, in particular with regards to logistics;
• Project control and document management.

Profile

• Ideally a Master’s Degree in a relevant field;
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in logistics with transport of equipment across borders;
  • Experienced with some of the below:
  • ITAR, Air freight security;
  • Export Control Classification Number (ECCN);
  • Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC);
  • REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
• Experience in document management / document control would be considered an asset;
• Fluent in English; knowledge of another ESA member-state language is an asset
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
