One of our more established customers who are a leading space organisation are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who can lead their sales activities across Europe. We are seeking someone who has previously sold into the space agencies and/or into the private New Space sector.


− Identifying business opportunities in accordance with the company’s strategic goals
− Maintaining extensive knowledge of the space industry market and forecasting its evolu-tion with respect to both programs from the European Space Agency and opportunities in the private sector
− Establish and maintain internal processes and tools to list and evaluate potential space projects
− Identify potential customers and suppliers in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective customer’s and supplier’s business and needs
− Establishing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships
− Act as the point of contact for all business development and project acquisition activities for the company.
− Involvement in PR & Marketing


− University Degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) or equivalent in engineering, ideally aerospace
− Relevant experience in a business development environment in the aerospace industry
− Good knowledge of the space market and value chain
− Commercially driven mind-set with focus on results and achievements
− Ability to define strategies for capturing commercial opportunities, including overall market dynamics assessment, competitive assessments, pricing strategy and negotiation strategy
− Proactive team player with strong relationship building qualities
− Leading personality with ability to communicate effectively and drive results
− Good analytical and problem-solving skills
− Excellent communication skills at executive management and governmental level
− Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
− Languages: Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
