Sapienza Consulting, a tpgroup company, is recruiting an Assistant Security Officerfor Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (ESA-ESTEC).

Responsibilities

The Assistant Security Officer tasks includes liaising with the ESA Security Office for security matters affecting NAV. The Assistant Security Officer shall fulfil the duties following duties including but not limited the following tasks.

  • Maintain operational the access control and intrusion detection system.
  • Monitoring the implementation and correct use of the D/NAV classified information management system;
  • Organising and overseeing the transfer of classified information to external entities;
  • Reporting incidents or infringements related to GNSS Physical, ICT or Personnel Security activities to the ESA Security Office. Investigate the security incident and provide the Security Incident Report to the ESA Security Office;
  • Initiating and coordinating internal audits and Security incident Prevention measures;
  • Supporting ESO in internal re-accreditation/inspection/audit/security investigation activities
  • Initiate the process of requesting PSC for NAV ESA Staff and on site contractor’s personnel
  • Manage RFVs to and from T-Building
  • Organize Security Briefings and track attendance
  • Manage the Classified sub-registries within the T-Building classified area
  • Enforce the NTK implementation in the T-Building CLA area
  • Update the NAV SecOps if needed

The person fulfilling the Assistant Security Officer position shall also provide other administrative support related to NAV security tasks; these NAV related security tasks covers the daily operation, maintenance and change control for records in the Navigation Directorate’s Documentation and Configuration Management System. This includes the participation in and to support improvements of the processes related to the use of electronic documentation and configuration systems, management tools (e.g. for action tracking) and other relevant IT tools. The documentation and configuration tasks are rendered by the CADM Office to given programmes, projects and specific organizational entities within the Navigation Directorate.

Profile

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with classified information
  • Experience with the processes associated to the management of a classified area
  • The work will require handling classified information. The candidate shall be eligible and willing to apply to a Personal Security Clearance. The previous possession of a PSC will be considered positively
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another ESA member-state language is an asset
