Sapienza Consulting, a Serco company, is recruiting an Assistant Communication Administrator/Officer for Sapienza to work on our Customers Site (ESA-HQ).

Sapienza has been a partner of ESA for almost 30 years, and we pride ourselves in supporting a wide range of missions including Galileo, MTG, Copernicus and ExoMars. Our team is international with activities across the U.K., the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with information requests and dispatching of media interview requests.
  • Overall management of information and promotional material.
  • Provision of various logistic support linked to the organization of events.
  • Documentation management.
  • Organization of meetings, including preparation of agenda.
  • Preparation of action lists and follow up of open actions related to the organization of events.
  • Organization of the visitors’ service, including management of the flow of visit requests, liaising with security personnel regarding access control, arrangement of staff lectures and catering for special visits, distribution of information material. Analysis of the visit requests and proposal of visit evolution to promote the site.
  • ESA site administration, including periodical update and distribution of the ESA and establishment news on the existing display systems and back-up for publication of information to all staff.
  • Preparation and publication of internal and external documents, including editing and proofreading.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant professional experience preferably in an international working environment.
  • Interest and good understanding of ESA Programmes and related activities.
  • A developed sense for initiatives and strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in the English and French language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
