Responsibilities

The main purpose would be to bring the internal onboard control systems such as main computer, engine control unit and telemetry unit to life by providing low to mid-level real-time software. Will be responsible to work on drivers and functionalities like remote firmware upgrade to mid-level software like state machines and data conversion. You will play a very critical role in ensuring the code quality is at high standards as most of the software is safety critical.

More specifically, you will:

  • Be responsible for specification / tracing of software requirements
  • Contribute within the development of safety critical embedded real time software for various rocket systems
  • Develop software design
  • Be responsible for software coding and debugging in C/C++
  • Be responsible for Software integration and analysis

Profile

  • MSc in System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Experience in C/C++
  • Proficient experience in Embedded systems
  • Good communication skills and a great team player
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Highly organised and proactive with high attention to detail
  • Can-do attitude and outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Driven and eager to learn
  • Fluent in English
