Responsibilities

We have an awesome opportunity for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our Manufacturing team.   We are seeking a lateral thinking who loves solving problems and looking for new solutions.  This role will focus on our mission and safety critical systems, developing strong relationships with NASA and FAA to ensure our hardware is ready to fly!  We need someone who understands our people and can innovate so we become more efficient and reliable to continue 100% mission.

Profile

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or related.
  • 3+ years experience as a Quality or Mechatronics Engineer
  • Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicator with prove ability to communicate and deliver clear and concise KPI’s
  • Can-do approach and flexibility to thrive around growing teams and processes
  • Python or C++

Desirable:

  • Experience with Siemens Team Center/Infor LN
  • Knowledge of production quality metrics
  • Experience transitioning products from prototypes to production
  • IQ/PQ process driven project completion
  • Understanding of instrumentation and electrical test equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, serial devices, temperature sensors
  • Understanding of electronic circuits, design principles and manufacturing techniques
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
