Responsibilities

We have a great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join Rocket Lab and work with teams to improve efficiencies and decision making across the business. You will work closely with our functional teams to improve productivity and provide data in structured and ad hoc formats. Contributing to the development of business intelligence standards and technology platform is an important part of the Data Analyst’s responsibilities as is delivering information to measure output and identify bottlenecks.

With a wide range of data sources involved including transactional (Financial, ERP, MES) and mission operations, there is scope within in the role to develop expertise in ETL and data warehousing as well as the core reporting suite (PowerBI and SQL).

This is an exciting time for us, we are going to the moon for NASA, we’re mounting the first private mission to Venus in search for life and we’re growing our new space systems division to support new capabilities on orbit. You’ll play a pivotal role in providing reliable data to support these missions.

Profile

Essential skills:

  • Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Process Improvement or Project Engineering experience
  • Finance, Manufacturing or Supply Chain knowledge and experience.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships

Desirable:

  • Project management experience
  • Training experience
  • Systems thinking expertise
