Responsibilities

Rocket Lab is a global leader in launching rockets, and we have been selected by NASA for a pathfinding mission to Lunar Orbit which is super exciting for us! Logistics is crucial to making all this happen. There are thousands of components that are used on Electron that come from both local suppliers and all over the world and this role ensures that these components are at the right place at the right time in line with requests raised by internal customers (Buying, planning, production and others). This role will work closely with the Inwards Team, receipting and dispatching stores.

Profile

Essential skills

  • 2+ years previous relevant logistics experience
  • Able to work well within a Team environment
  • A strong understanding of MS Office software
  • A can-do attitude, open to learning with good organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding and customs regulations
  • IATA / IMDG Dangerous Goods knowledge
  • NZ Drivers License with D Endorsement
