The Assembly, Integration & Test department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Satellite Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Your Tasks
 

• Operate tests at unit, subsystem and satellite level
• Electrical interface tests, functional tests, subsystem and system tests
• Use of electrical measurement tools (e.g. Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, laboratory voltage sources)
• Development of test procedures and hardware work instructions
• Preparation of test setups
• Preparation of test reports  with evaluation of test data
• Finding, analyzing and solving the non-conformance of the satellite in close collaboration with subsystem’s responsible
• Working in clean room environment as well as office work

Profile

 
Your Qualifications
 

• Degree in electrical engineering,  aerospace engineering or similar, technical apprenticeships with physics/electronics background
• Familiar with use of electrical test equipment and EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment)
• Basic knowledge in writing test scripts and programming
• Ability to read, understand and apply technical manuals, data reports, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics and design specifications
• Well-developed communication skills and used to work in a team
• Sense of responsibility and an effective way of working
• Comfortable to work under time constraint
• High degree of flexibility
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel
