  • Location: Donauwörth (travels to Marignane on occasion are possible)
  • Start: as soon as possible
  • Duration: 6 – 9 months
  • Contract type: 35 hours/week, flexi-time

Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.The envisioned project would be the creation or review of a Product Sourcing Policy for selected Commodities (Floatation and Raft systems) for selected Airbus helicopter platforms.

Responsibilities

The main task is to create an analysis of the existing Commodity status (Technologies, Suppliers, Turn Over, International Footprint, ….) in order to describe the AS IS situation. Out of this AS IS situation the TO BE Product and Sourcing Strategy will be developed/updated. This shall be done under consideration of the overall Airbus objectives like Internationalization, Standardization, Simplification, etc. The applicant will assist and be supported by the responsible Buyer of the Commodity. The assistance of the Buyer can also include the support in daily activities and tasks.

Due to the transversal task (Marignane, Donauwörth, Subsidiaries involved) good English is a prerequisite. Main Interfaces are Engineering, Support and Program departments within Airbus Helicopters.

Profile

  • You are an enrolled student within Business Administration, Engineering or similar field of study
  • You have a first background in Business Administration and/or Engineering
  • You are used to working with MS Office and ideally have some experience with SAP
  • You have international working experience
  • You speak advanced English and good German. French is a plus
  • You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
