Responsibilities

In the context of a LuFo Research & Technology project on Pilot Assistance Functions to support offshore H/C operations, we are looking for a working student to actively support the project team in a variety of systems engineering activities. Objective of the R&T project is the prototypical development of advanced support functions to increase mission efficiency and flight safety for offshore wind operations. Subject of research are assistance functions based on new sensor technologies for imaging and obstacle warning, augmented display solutions, transponder and communication means and more. Embedded in the Optronics department in the Mission Avionics domain, you will be working with partners from industry and research institutes on the following tasks:

  • Requirements definition
  • System design and definition
  • Preparation, planning and evaluation of system tests (simulator, ground and flight tests)
  • Technical documentation (design documentation, test plans and reports .. )
  • Safety- & certification analysis
  • Preparation of project meetings, coordination of project partners

Profile

  • Enrolled student (d/f/m) within industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, materials testing or a comparable field of study

  • Fluent in English and German
