Responsibilities
- Project Management of the RUAG Large Scale Composite recurring deliveries from RUAG Space USA
- Responsible for costs, planning and quality of the Products and Services
- Management of the project team (approx. 10 people) and the subcontractors
- Preparation and negotiation of proposals for additional activities and contractual changes/claims
- Management of the Product configuration
- Regular reporting to customer and internal management
- Steering of project risk management
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement within the project
- Implementation of mission specific customer needs and improvements
- Responsible for Customer relationship management and long term trust
- Development and improvement of Project Management processes at RUAG Space USA using appropriate KPIs
- Maintain and cultivate a close business relationship with the functional leadership across RUAG
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar, Master degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to drive actions and initiatives outside the immediate responsibility circle
- Used to working in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a great team spirit
- Good experience of standard IT tools (MS Office) and Project IT tools (e.g. MS Project, SAP)
- Passionate about space business in general (launch systems in particular) and pro-active mindset to solve issues related to business processes
