Responsibilities

Our Guidance, Navigation and Control team are responsible for the software that gets our customers’ payloads exactly where they need to be. As an intern with the A-team your day-to-day tasks may include, depending on your background and experience:

• Hardware In The Loop (HITL) verification of flight software
• Development of new simulator / flight software development capability
• Automation of GNC software release processes
• Development of a new verification framework for Monte Carlo analysis
• Analysis of flight and simulation data

Our launch frequency is increasing rapidly and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running when it comes to working with C, C++ and Python and be comfortable developing in a Linux environment.

Profile

Minimum requirements:

• Final year student studying towards a Bachelors in Electronic, Mechatronic, Software Engineering or Computer Science
• C/C++ and Python experience (with code/software examples, e.g. on GitHub)
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles

Desirable Skills:

• MATLAB experience
• Experience with git version control
• Understanding of basic electronics and embedded systems (e.g. Raspberry PIs or MCUs)
• Good fundamental understanding of basic physics
