As Quality Procurement Engineer you are part of the Quality Procurement department of GKN Fokker Aerostructures in Hoogeveen. In Quality Procurement 24 employees, coordinate the quality of delivered products, stimulate continuous improvement of suppliers and guarantee methods and procedures from our locations in Hoogeveen, Papendrecht, Chihuahua (Mexico), Atlanta (USA) en Bangalore (India).

Responsibilities

As Quality Procurement Engineer you work from a Suppllier Account Team (SAT). You are responsible for Quality policy and approach, for selection and development of suppliers and optimum performance of BQLTC (Business, Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costing). You encourage continuous improvement in the supply chain and your focus is on preventing and structurally solving problems. You select and evaluate suppliers, guide suppliers and manage quality requirements. You plan and organize system and process audits, Root Cause Analyses, analyze and present results of audits and suppliers and train suppliers. You are the point of contact for all quality aspects in the field of suppliers and you work together with SAT teams, management teams and the Quality Liaison Engineer. Traveling is part of the job.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the job has a Bachelor or Master education, preferably in a technical field. As a person you are analytical and result-oriented, development-oriented and collaborative, you have strong organizational and communication skills (Dutch and English) and you are full of initiative. Next to this you have overview, you think in terms of processes and are improvement-oriented. Knowledge of business, purchasing, logistics and production processes is required and knowledge of APQP, Lean /6 Sigma (DMAIC, 8D, 5S) analysis methods and mini-tab is desirable.
