Responsibilities

As a member of the Vehicle Integration team, you will:

  • Install avionic and mechanical components, wiring harnesses and high voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle.
  • The Vehicle Integration team is group of highly qualified technicians with backgrounds in both avionics and mechanical experience, with the team working together it is vital you have a versatile skill-set to ensure team goals and deadlines are meet.
  • You will also work closely with Rocket Lab’s production departments who supply the hardware assemblies as well as having regular contact with design and test engineers to achieve the highest product quality and safety standards required for Rocket Lab launch vehicles.

Profile

  • Must be able to demonstrate 8+ years of relevant industry experience in aviation manufacture or maintenance
  • A high work rate and be able to work overtime and long hours if needed
  • A very high level of attention to detail and the ability to produce work to an exceptional standard of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings
