Responsibilities

  • As Technical Lead you are responsible for the execution of the design function for the NH90 Landing Gear & Intermediate Gearbox Component and for the operational management of engineers assigned to the Design Built Support Team(s) located in Helmond and Papendrecht.
  • You, as Technical Lead, ensures a correct execution of the design activities, procedures and processes as defined in the Military Design Organization Manual in accordance to planning and cost.
  • The Technical Lead is working closely with the multidisciplinary NH90 Program Team, liaises with Partner Companies, NATO Helicopter Industries and Design Subcontractors on International Level and as Technical Lead you report directly to the NH90 Chief Engineer.

Profile

  • You have an academic degree in aerospace engineering;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the area of development of aerospace components, concepts and materials;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the management of multi-disciplinary international projects;
  • You have sufficient knowledge for the integration of disciplines;
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing) in English;
  • You are willing to work from at the locations Helmond and Papendrecht;
  • It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of helicopter system landing gears.
