Responsibilities

  • As an Aircraft Mechanic, you play an important role in the execution of work on mechanical and electrical aircraft systems and engines in accordance with the Part 145. Upon arrival of aircraft, you perform entry tests.
  • Furthermore, you are engaged in repairing, revising, modifying, testing, preparing and adjusting part and composite aircraft systems.
  • Together with your colleagues, you ensure that work is done in accordance with the rules and standards in aviation.
  • You will be working for Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht.
  • It is possible that you have to carry out work within you area of expertise, outside of the Netherlands.

Profile

  • To be an Aircraft Mechanic at Fokker Techniek you will in any case have a completed MBO level (VMBO niv 3/4 + job-oriented programs, ie VOM / VOT).
  • You also have a certificate for the competent execution of the required activities and you have knowledge of procedures, regulations, manuals, technical manuals and regulations, as well as the applicable information systems within Aerospace.
  • Experience with A320/A330/B737 are a plus.
  • It is important that you have an adequate level of reading and understanding technical English for reading manuals, drawings and instructions.
  • Craftsmanship is required for disassembly and assembly work with hand tools and the adjustment of aircraft systems, as well as for operating measuring tools and special test equipment.
