This position manages the finance and commercial program team including EVMS compliance.  This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and successful implementation via a Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) validation review.


  • Oversee and develop processes necessary to achieve and maintain an EVMS, including successful completion of a validation review.
  • Facilitates the interface between the program, senior management, and the customer concerning EVMS data, processes and issues.
  • Consult with the program relative to EVMS matters, which include the budgeting, planning/scheduling, estimate at completion, work authorization, change management, data analysis and other processes.
  • Monitor and analyzing the information produced by the EVMS to insure data integrity occurs and the information is useful for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain the IMS.
  • Ensure that the IMS meets customer delivery requirements, and is executable regarding internal and external resources.
  • Ensure that the IMS aligns with ERP schedules, supplier schedules and customer schedules.
  • Lead the activity to respond to corrective action plans and effort leading to the validation review. This includes training, process improvement, automating processes as applicable, measuring data metrics, and articulating the path to validation in various reports, briefings and meetings.
  • Support the business with the execution of the monthly cadence cycle to include the completion and submittal of the monthly reports and monthly data cycle.
  • Provide guidance to the program on other financial and business matters as they occur.
  • Lead the planning and scheduling process for the program manager in coordination with the finance team.
  • Develop and provide appropriate metrics and information to enable attainment of the project schedule objectives.
  • Lead Commercial activity and provide program director and IPT team with commercial advice.
  • Ensure timely and quality responses to customer requests and integrate communications into program cadence.


  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
    • 10 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis
    • Must have an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
    • Must be a US Citizen. Must comply with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
