The Program Finance Associate supports the program manager and IPT team with maintenance of program specific analysis, models, KPIs, and guidance to help ensure business targets are measured & achieved. This role plays a key role in maintaining the operating rhythm of the IPT team and assists with monthly forecasting, budgeting, as well as variance and ad hoc analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and summarize data in support of various business objectives (e.g. accounts receivable, bids and proposals, production efficiency improvements, etc.)
  • Calculate variances of actuals to monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Maintain and publish key performance indicators to the IPT team as needed.
  • Assist with monthly closing process related to IPT responsibilities as needed.
  • Actively participate in improvement projects both within Finance & cross functionally
  • Actively participate in cost out initiatives & cross functional efforts to reduce product cost.
  • Develop financial knowledge within the business IPT as appropriate.
  • Liaison with finance customers including management representatives, internal & external auditors and local users of financial data.
  • Maintain financial models and performance reports for the Program Manager
  • Identify and assist in resolving problems with a direct or indirect impact on financial results.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance.

Profile

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and  2 years of experience in finance or accounting –OR- in lieu of degree, 6 years of experience in finance or accounting
    • 2 years of experience working with excel in a professional environment
    • Must be a US Citizen. Must comply with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
