An exciting new position has become available for a Team Leader in the Materials and Process department (Engineering).

You will be leading a team of specialists in metallics materials, surface technology, bonding and metal processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technologies in the assigned disciplines of Materials and Processes.
• Manage the approved activities in this group such that these are realized within the agreed balance of time, funds, and technology.
• Support the development of new Technologies
• Define workpackage descriptions and time schedule for activities assigned to the group.
• Take corrective measures in the case of deviations from the planned objectives for time, funds, and technology, if required in consultation with the Head of M&P.
• Facilitate and maintain a good team working environment in which group members can perform and develop their skills
• Maintain contacts with knowledge centres to stimulate developments of new technologies
• Hold job appraisal and assessment interviews with individual members of his group together with the Head of M&P

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in materials or mechanical engineering
• At least five years’ experience in the area of Materials and Processes (area of metallic materials)
• People management experience would be considered a distinct advantage
• Result driven.
• Travel up to 20% of time.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
