We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to be based at RAF Kinloss/Lossiemouth, supporting our Boeing Defence fixed wing programs. This position complements the existing EHS team of eight professionals in the UK and Ireland.

The purpose of the role will be to provide practical support to management and employees to enable Boeing to achieve a high standard of EHS performance.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include day-to-day EHS support for risk assessment, EHS procedures, communications, EHS inspections, induction training, EHS observations, emergency procedures, accident investigation, and environmental compliance and sustainability. This role will work closely with the rest of the regional EHS team.

Profile

The candidate will have a qualification in environment, health and safety, preferably to degree/diploma level, and have experience in an aircraft maintenance environment or similar, ideally previously holding a health and safety role within this environment.

Key skills will include influencing people, communication, problem solving, pragmatism and flexibility.

General IT skills are also important.
