GDUK is engaged in a Reliability Growth Trials (RGT) Program for the AJAX family of vehicles. RGT Program comprises operation of 9 vehicles from 4 variant designs through simulated Battlefield Missions (BFMs) to identify and correct failure modes. GDUK is seeking a Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Durability (RAM-D) Manager to develop and maintain the RAM-D analysis methodology, processes, and models to be utilized throughout the RGT program.


The RAM-D Manager is responsible and accountable for all RAM-D analysis and modeling activity including but not limited to: development of the modeling tools and methodology to be used by the program, development and maintenance of RAM-D processes and best practices, development and maintenance of the RAM-D models, and development and execution of failure mode and corrective action scoring (e.g. FEFs) methodology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development, maintenance, and ownership of the vehicle RAM-D models
  • Development, maintenance, and ownership of the program RAM-D processes and tools
  • Development, maintenance, and reporting of RAM-D metrics
  • Ownership of the RAM-D CDRLS
  • Support the RGT Manager to develop the suite of RGT Plans
  • Support of DRACAS process to define and enforce scoring criteria
  • Close monitoring of key supplier RGT Programme
  • Oversight of R&M Working Groups

  • Knowledge of military vehicle operation and/or maintenance
  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • Experience of conducting RGT programmes
  • In depth knowledge of underlying reliability models such as Duane, Crow-Extended, AMSAA, and PM2
  • Good understanding of MIL-HDBK-189C
