Responsibilities

Provide front-end portal support and custom web development for United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and US Forces Korea (USFK) to prepare ROK and U.S. Alliance Forces for armistice, crisis, and war.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Provide SharePoint Front-End support, customized web development, permissions, storage, and manage accessibility.
  • Manage content design, creation and user support to end-users; employees out of the box capabilities in MS InfoPath, MS Visual Studio, SP Designer, and related tools with the web application framework to automate critical business and information processes using forms, workflows, dashboards, search, taxonomies, and other front-end mechanisms to simplify data entry, validation, storage, retrieval and reporting.
  • Provide expertise in SP application development and in all facets of Web services, design, including user interface experience, automated report generation, and automation with other MS applications.
  • Perform KM design, engineering, development, testing, migration, deployment, training, document processes, and change management of the knowledge management tools.
  • Build custom business forms using SharePoint, InfoPath, .NET, Visual Studio or other available tools.
  • Determine and document the solution design, including all development tasks that are necessary to address all applicable requirements as well as an estimated Level of Effort (LOE) to deliver the proposed solution.

Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience performing Web Services/Development tasks, to include Custom Application/Coding tasks.
  • Extensive SharePoint (SP) experience to inter-connect various command functions and capabilities to render desired functionalities.
  • In-depth knowledge of coding the front end of current SP platforms and future SP platforms as well as written application code in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, JQuery, XML or Office Open XML, or C#.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
  • Active SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CISSP, ITIL, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, Security, +, Network +,
  • Korean language proficiency preferred for communication with Korean staff.
