About this job

The candidate will provide SETA support to the applied R&D group. The customer is pathfinding and transitioning to operations Multi-INT solutions addressing hard intelligence problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day collaboration with Government, FFRDC, SETA, developers, and mission partners on R&D system architecture
• Provide oversight, monitoring development and integration activities, ensuring alignment with Government requirements and objectives
• Analyze a wide variety of mission thread projects for impact on the system architecture.
• Assist in ensuring decisions about R&D systems are consistent with an “open” architecture.
• Advise senior and mid-level government managers on acquisition decisions regarding R&D projects.
• Establish and maintain the Systems Interface Description, linking together the operational and systems architecture models.

Profile

Required Skills and Education:

• Active TS/SCI and an adjudicated poly.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a SETA, with excellent communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience as a systems engineer and/ or solutions architect.
• Experience with Systems Interface Description documentation.
• History working with the customer, preferably with Groundv

Desired Skills and Education:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with IC and/or DoD space architectures.
• Experience in engineering and/ or acquisition of IC and/ or DoD spacecraft  systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering processes, MBSE a plus.
