Airbus CyberSecurity, the subsidiary of Airbus Defence & Space, whose the mission is to protect Airbus, governments and Critical National Industries against the cyber threat, reinforces its position in Europe by establishing a Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) in Barajas (Spain, Madrid’s Area).
The Cyber Defence Centre is a department that provides Cyber defence services in order to:
- Prevent a cyber risk (Consulting & audits)
- Detect and react on security incidents (Security Operation Centre – SOC)
- Respond of an attack (Computer Security Incident Response Team – CSIRT)
In this context, the Cyber Defence Centre is seeking to hire a SOC system administrator for maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO).
Responsibilities
Within the SOC of Airbus CyberSecurity and under the responsibility of the SOC manager, the SOC MRO works as part of a team in charge of maintaining the SOC infrastructure and components for incident detection.
The main mission of the SOC MRO is to manage the SOC IT components to warrant the service commitments and to deal with the operational and security maintenance of the SOC infrastructure and services.
The SOC MRO belongs to the Admin staff, works in normal business hours and in stand-by shifts too.
Missions:
- Manage normal operations to ensure the service continuity, data recovery, the security level and performance.
- Deploys, configures and updates the information and communication technologies
- Reports progress of deployment and configuration staff
- Manages requests for change, plans and does
- Monitors the SOC infrastructure and react on troubles
- Analyses console messages, diagnoses system errors and remediates
- Manage production incidents, problems, requests for change
- Participates of the improvement plan for service efficiency
- Works independently to perform analyses and investigations
- Plans maintenance operations and systems upgrade according to the SOC Manager
- Ensures the situational awareness of the SOC ICT platform performance, available resources and capacity
- Updates and manages the capacity plan with the SOC Manager

Profile
- With a proven experienced of critical platforms management in day to day operations, you have a solid background in systems, networks and security.
- Very well organised, autonomous and service oriented, you must be prepared to deal with continuity plans and disaster recovery issues.
- You possess an Information Security and operational oriented mind-set.
- You are a professional with at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in this position.
- Education: Technician diploma or equivalence after a solid experience in the domain of IT
