About this job

Within the Training Centres Services organization (TASTO5) you will be responsible to provide support to Airbus Defence and Space Training Centres (TC) both at internal facilities (Seville ITC and Getafe TC) and to our Customers TCs.

You will be responsible to Support the ITC Support Service Leader and the Global Support Services Leader on the:

  • Management of the local support team service provider
  • Management of EASA regulated Synthetic Training Devices Organization including preparation of commitees, audits, reporting and recurrent evaulations
  • Supporting Training aids maintenance activities including full fligh simulators, part task trainers and classroom equipment
  • Interfacing internal and external organizations like Facility Management, Information Management and Training Device Suppliers
  • Management and execution of operational services like Remote and Local technical support, spares repair and replenishment, obsolescence management services, training, etc…
  • Setup and deployment of training centres support services at internal and customer facilities

Responsibilities

In the context of your activity, you will have to:

  • Acquire a good level of expertise in the training and simulation domain, in a highly technological and constantly evolving environment
  • Learn and understand the operation of ADS platforms systems like A400M, C295, CN235, MRTT and Eurofighter
  • Develop a Customer oriented mindset and understand the training needs of pilots, maintenance, cabin crew and other training devices support personnel
  • Develop team work capabilities in highly matrix oriented organization with multiple lines of reporting and substantial need for business agility
  • Ensure an interface with a substantial number of players and customers and manage various tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work under pressure in a multi-cultural environment.

Profile

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competences:

  • Educated in aeronautical/industrial/IT engineering
  • Experience in Training and Simulation
  • Experience in Aircraft Systems
  • Experience in EASA Regulated Organizations / FSTDO – ATO
  • Language: Spanish, English (Advanced)
  • Knowledge/experience in operational military environment is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in software development is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in material management services and/or SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge/experience in Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, VBA, Sharepoint, CRM)
