Strategy and Performance Improvement (RY) is a diverse team of communications professionals and the administrative backbone of Airbus’s communications team. We bring this international, multi-disciplinary department together, uniting it behind a single strategy, a common set of performance standards, and rigorous and efficient business practices. We provide the blend of rigour and creativity every successful communications department depends on. We also ensure that Airbus’s senior management team communicates with audiences inside and outside of the company in a clear, consistent and compelling way.

RY is in vanguard of the changes across the communications function, sharpening the day-to-day support that the function provides to Airbus’s businesses. Responsibilities

  • You support the speechwriters in executive communications (briefings, research for speeches etc.) and you assist in creating editorial articles
  • You research relevant topics, draft and edit texts for different media (e.g. intranet (HUB) / CEO blog, internet and social media)
  • You manage and maintain the content and structure of our HUB community and develop it in coordination with the team
  • You monitor and analyse the internal CEO blog
  • You prepare internal analyses and reports
  • You are responsible for the internal communication newsletter and you are acting as main point of contact for the “Airbus executive communications calendar”
  • General administrative and organizational tasks

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Profile

  • You are an enrolled student within communication sciences, media or marketing studies, journalism, public relations or similar field of study
  • You are used to work with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and you have experience with G-Suite
  • You have organizational and analytical-creative skills
  • You have a responsible and independent way of working and a customer centric mind-set
  • You are result-oriented, stress resilient, accountable, reliable and autonomous
  • You are a team player, open-minded and communicative
  • You have editorial skills and abilities, you are stylistically competent in expressing yourself in the areas of communications, internal and external corporate communications, online communication or on social media
  • Fluent in German and English is a must. French would be a plus
