Responsibilities

Under guidance of Branch Head Service Operations Management and Support, contractor will perform duties such as:

• Executes assigned work orders, often under guidance of centralized services, to provide local intervention to assure SLA targets are sustained which includes, but not limited to:
• Installation, operation and maintenance of Routing and Switching, VoIP and VTC infrastructures and circuits;
• Troubleshooting network connections and serial circuits;
• Maintain voice services infrastructure including user profiles
• Manages User Profile Services (UPS) as part of a centralized UPS
• Provide Level 1 assistance to Centralised service Desk or Service Lines for incident resolution
• Liaise with and supports external teams for deployment of new systems and/ or reconfigurations
• Participate in incident management, problem management and change management processes
• Prepare and maintains records for preventive and corrective maintenance of all assigned systems and equipment based on working hour record.
• Coordinates with Host HQ for infrastructure projects and issues
• Contributing to service asset and configuration management;
• Perform other duties within NCI Agency’s area of business as may be required.

Profile

• REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET – must hold active security clearance either NATO or National equivalent
• Higher secondary education and vocational training in telecommunication and electronics technology
• Good awareness of local area networking and cabling standards
• Experience in modems and related cabling
• Experience in LAN cabling
• Practical experience in use of modern concepts and accepted industry standards for configuration management, quality assurance and testing
• Working experience with transmission lines test equipment and testing network components applying test guides and creating test reports
• Practical working knowledge in TCP/IP networking and networked application including Routing & switching
