Roke has an excellent opportunity to join the organisation as an Assistant Project Accountant working within a busy finance department and reporting directly to The Finance Business Partner. This is a role that will mature as you develop, so there is genuine scope to progress in the role as your skills evolve. The successful candidate will be able to learn and progress their finance and Excel skills with the chance to study towards a professional qualification (AAT/CIMA) at the same time.

Responsibilities

  • Raising sales invoices using SAP
  • Maintaining and reconciling unbilled debtors and advanced payments
  • Interacting with project managers and customers to ensure information is accurate and complete
  • Help drive our improvements in cash flow
  • Help drive improvements and efficiency in our processes
  • Process timesheets on a weekly basis

Profile

  • Ability to work methodically and accurately whilst keeping to financial deadlines
  • Experience interacting with various stakeholders in a professional and adaptive manner
  • Desire to learn as this role has the potential to grow with the successful candidate.
  • Ability to adapt quickly
  • Knowledge of Excel and basic accounting principles would be preferable but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience using SAP would be preferable but not a prerequisite.

Due to the nature of this position, candidates must be willing to undergo, and eligible to achieve HMG security clearance (prior to appointment).
