• Purchase goods or services for D-Orbit to use or sell
• Ensure employer obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion
• Play an integral role in ensuring the company sticks to budgets and operates profitably

Responsibilities

• Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
• Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
• Identify and researches potential new suppliers
• Research new products and services to meet company’s goals
• Assess total costs of company purchases
• Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
• Oversee a team of purchasing agents
• Report to the Head of Procurement

• Experience as a Procurement Clerk or Junior Buyer
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Applied Science, or a Related Field
• Language: Full professional proficiency of English language is mandatory.
