About this job

Momentus seeks a high performing, high energy, early career Spacecraft Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Technician who can work hard with high productivity in a close knit diverse team to accomplish spacecraft level AIT. The AIT Technician will  support space vehicle development and production engineers.

The position is in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Responsibilities

• Support flight system development and production teams to deliver flight ready hardware
• Support development of AIT processes
• Perform assembly of flight hardware
• Spacecraft test set-up and operation, in support of AIT Lead Engineer
• Maintain on-line documentation associated with flight hardware AIT activities, test results and status
• Maintain and support electrical and mechanical ground support equipment

Profile

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in spacecraft AI&T is desired
• Aerospace experience working with flight hardware is preferred but experience in other high-reliability industries is acceptable

Education and Training:

• Position is open to AA degrees or equivalent in training, experience, or certifications

Proven ability to produce in high tempo work environments is critical to this role. Strong references and a history of positive working relationships will be key for successful applicant.  A friendly disposition and a proven strong work ethic are also key.
