Momentus Space is looking for an Engineering Laboratory  Electrical Technician. The Engineering Laboratory  Electrical Technician will report to the Innovation Engineering Laboratory Manager.

The position is in the Innovation Engineering Group, in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Responsibilities

This individual will assist engineers and scientists in developing electrical and computer interfaces to prototype devices.  This person will also assist in the operation of high voltage and microwave devices under the supervision of trained professionals.   A working familiarity with solid state electronics and DC power sources is highly desired.

Profile

Desired qualification include:

• 8 years of relevant practical experience;
• An Associates degree or equivalent training and experience;
• Willingness and ability to work with and modify unusual laboratory devices;
• A friendly disposition and willingness to participate in unusual projects.

Experience in amateur radio, general aviation,  drones and/or robotics is highly desirable. References and examples of past work will be critical to this position. This position is open to US citizens and permanent residents.
