We launch Rockets! Rocket Lab has made history launching the only fully carbon composite rocket to orbit.  With six launches under our belt and many more to come, we’re looking for a talented individual to join our composites team and work alongside a diverse mix of people all with one goal…launching our rocket into space!

What we’re looking for more than anything is someone who is willing to learn, goal orientated, has great work ethic and thrives in a team culture.  This role would suit someone who has a creative flair – if you enjoy a bit of sewing or playing around with different materials, this could be the job for you!

Responsibilities

• Trimming foam insulation accurately to patterns
• Using silicon to glue materials together
• Use of basic stitching to join layers together
• Following instructions accurately to kit carbon fibre pieces
• Basic Laminating or press moulding
• Working from documents or instructions from team lead
