Responsibilities

Rocket Lab has bought and committed to deploying Siemens Teamcenter into the business and has decided to employ a Teamcenter Solution Architect for this implementation rather than engaging a third party agency. It is understood that the scope and depth of the Teamcenter portfolio and the product rate of change is beyond anyone’s capability to keep up with but that our best chance is by engaging with someone intimately familiar with Teamcenter and who knows where to look or whom to ask for additional support. It is believed that this approach will ensure a faster and more successful implementation, and also allow Rocket Lab to develop the application more completely. This implementation is made up of two phases, phase 1 and phase 2.

• Phase 1 sets up the base infrastructure and core capability around management of configuration data and change management and is relatively well defined,
• Phase 2 explores additional functionality around ERP Integration in particular while also considering requirements management, publications and manufacturing planning including work instructions.

Profile

Essential Skills

• Certificate or degree is Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as a Teamcenter Solution Architect.
• Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.

Desirable

• Experience working in a technical role in an Engineering office, e.g. design engineering.
• Process Improvement experience.
