About this job
We are looking for a senior business developer for our UK office. The candidate will be responsible for promoting D-Orbit’s products and solutions in the UK market. He or she will develop marketing strategies and sales campaigns for the private sector and pursue funding opportunities in the institutional and defense sectors, in coordination with the Italian HQ.
- Promote and market D-Orbit solutions in the UK;
- Establish commercial relationships within the commercial space industry;
- Identify funding opportunities within the institutional and defense space sector, leading the proposal process;
- Develop marketing and sales strategies in coordination with the Italian HQ;
- Lead sales campaigns;
- Set and track performance metrics.
- Five-year experience in an equivalent position;
- First-hand experience of the UK institutional space market, with successful fundraising experience;
- Deep understanding of the space sector;
- Familiarity with the various national space programs;
- Knowledge of key technologies and market trends;
- Understanding of military and defense market;
- Knowledge of the industry and space programs,
- UK Security clearance is a plus.
- Higher education in business and management, engineering, or equivalent disciplines.
- Good proficiency in the English language is required; other ESA languages are considered a plus.
