This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Some travel (less than two weeks per year) expected for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Approved Vendor Lists needed to satisfy AS9100 requirements.
• Maintain good vendor relationships with current Approved Vendors.
• Responsible for seeking out potential suppliers for project’s RFIs and RFQs.
• Manage PO approval process, PO revisions, supplier confirmation and electronic storage of all purchase orders.
• Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes.
• Manage supplier quality issues including return material authorization, cause and corrective action documentation and supplier credits
• Work closely with Finance to resolve invoices, pricing issues, and proper inventory transactions cost.
• Responsible for TUI Purchasing’s credit card orders and payments.
• Ensure there are proper records of receipt for credit card orders as well as submitting monthly expense report to Finance.
• Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options.
• Work closely with Receiving regarding incoming shipments of orders.
• Ensure compliance to Company and Procurement procedures as well as continuous process improvements.

Profile

Required

• Pursuit of BA/BS (must be at min. a college junior) required in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or associated degree
• Energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to conduct independent research, synthesize what you’ve learned and use that knowledge to inform good business decisions
• Ability to work, problem-solve and thrive in a very unstructured environment
• Strong track-record of creativity & innovation to solve problems
• Detail oriented and high accuracy
• Strong writing skills

• Previous purchasing or planning experience
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office product line
• Financial acumen, ability to foster relationships
