An exciting part-time opportunity to join our Business Strategy Team as a Market Intelligence Analyst. This is a Part-Time (3 days a week) and 12 months Fixed Term Appointment.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to…

• routinely deliver market intelligence assessments and briefings to other Catapult personnel in supports of bids, projects or commercial engagements and be a full participant in any related interactions with customers or stakeholders and
• build on previous research-project work that had mapped the UK space supply chain and now needs to be completed by augmenting that with real world UK companies so that areas of single point failure can be identified and addressed in subsequent Catapult interventions.

Both of these aspects are instrumental to our work and ensure that the role provides for impactful interventions and facilitation around strategy and commercialisation to help SMEs (& scale-ups and primes) to grow and scale rapidly in the space sector.

You know you have been successful when you are delivering Market Intelligence information that provides advice and guidance to our business community or within our projects that shape strategies, business models, roadmaps and plans that are then delivering commercial growth.

Profile

• You are completing (or have) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business subject or technology discipline with a strong interest in understanding how technology is exploited in a commercial environment.
• You are passionate about technology, curious with an investigative mindset.
• You use your creative thinking to tell a captivating story supported by data.
• You hold an appreciation and understanding of the space sector, its opportunities, and challenges and are able to build long lasting powerful partnership with your colleagues and customers alike.
