HawkEye 360 is enabling a safer world by delivering a new form of a Radio Frequency (RF) data analytics. We operate the first of its kind commercial satellite constellation to identify and geolocate a broad set of RF signals. We extract value from this unique data through proprietary algorithms, fusing it with other sources to create powerful analytical products that solve hard challenges for our global customers. Our products include maritime domain awareness and spectrum mapping and monitoring designed to serve a wide range of commercial, government and international customers.

Responsibilities

HawkEye 360 is seeking a maritime analyst to join an innovative team in a quickly growing startup. We need a talented individual to bring our revolutionary RF analytics to market by conducting detailed research and analysis to demonstrate how HawkEye data can play an integral role in providing unique insight. This hands-on role will support the Sales organization through applying our data to customer intelligence problems for demonstrations and product promotion helping to generate leads and drive account growth with consistent and timely messaging. The Insights Analyst will play a key role in building demand signals for HawkEye 360 with US government, international government, and maritime customers. This position reports to the Insights Director.

We’ll Expect You To…

• Conduct research and produce a range of analytical maritime products.
• Work with partners to highlight the value of combining HawkEye with other data.
• Become an expert in our advanced RF data and analytic platform.
• Develop and maintain use cases for demos and Sales support.
• Develop vignettes, use cases, and other content to build awareness.
• Document analytic workflows to support customer exploitation.
• Work collaboratively across the organization to enable sales.
• Drive the success of distributor partners by supplying useful content.
• Support tradeshow exhibition and customer demonstrations.
• Reinforce by example the company’s commitment to its values, including integrity and compliance.

Profile

You’ll Need to Have…

• 3+ years demonstrated maritime domain expertise
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of geospatial information, data analytics, data science, RF technologies, signals information, and/or other relevant technical understanding.
• Strong organizational skills to manage research requirements and timelines.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of multiple research projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Required proficiency in MS Office. Desired proficiency with QGIS/ArcGIS.
