Responsibilities

Provide front-end portal support and custom web development for United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and US Forces Korea (USFK) to prepare ROK and U.S. Alliance Forces for armistice, crisis, and war.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

• Provide SharePoint Front-End support, customized web development, permissions, storage, and manage accessibility.
• Setup, operate, populate, and facilitate content management on the SharePoint and ensure links are properly working.
• Develop and maintain self-learning SharePoint training library and provide in-depth site owners training as required.
• Build custom business forms using SharePoint, InfoPath, .NET, Visual Studio or other available tools.
• Provide expertise in SP application development and in all facets of Web services, design, including user interface experience, automated report generation, and automation with other MS applications.
• Provide required SP support necessary to ensure optimal operation of the UNC/CFC/USFK MS Office SP Server (MOSS) on all three (NIPR/SIPR/CENTRIXSK) networks. This includes administration, integration, and troubleshooting all aspects of the portal and associated software applications and services authorized.

Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of hands-on, front-end SharePoint administration and development of portal solutions using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath, and working with collaborative tools.
• Three (3) years running a team of portal administrators.
• Two (2) years of developing SharePoint capabilities using JavaScript and other programming languages.
• Master’s Degree in Information Technology or a total of 10 years of hands-on, front-end SharePoint administration and development of portal solutions using SharePoint Designer, Microsoft InfoPath, and working with collaborative tools.
• Active SECRET security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL Foundation, Certified Knowledge Manager (KMI), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Security+ Certified, A+ Certified, Network+
• Korean language proficiency preferred for, communication with Korean staff.
