Disruptive Technology Associates, Ltd. is looking to grow our team of highly skilled technical people with the addition of a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems Engineer with hands-on experience with spacecraft hardware.  This position will support the development, testing and fielding of state-of-the-art communications systems.

Responsibilities

The DSP Systems Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the design, implementation and test of digital signal processing functionality for spacecraft applications including system requirements, architecture, algorithm development, hardware/software partitioning, requirements validation and verification.

Profile

Due to customer requirements:

• US citizenship is required.
• This position also requires the ability to undergo an investigation for a security clearance (Top Secret) including a polygraph test.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or a related field is preferred.

This position requires:

• Hands on experience with systems engineering, design, development and testing of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems for spacecraft applications

Experience with any of the following are considered pluses:

• Creating overall signal processing architecture
• DSP algorithm development
• Hardware/software design trade-offs
• Experience with fixed-point hardware implementations
• An understanding of environmental effects on spacecraft hardware
• Hands-on execution of performance testing
