Responsibilities

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Provides assistance, support, tools, project management guidelines to program management team needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Developing and executing material cost reduction strategies
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Min 3+ years’ experience in project management and related experience
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Experience in scheduling and process implementation in global companies
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Aerospace, defense and space industry experience in operations, manufacturing, engineering, program management, or business management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
