Momentus provides in-space transportation services to spacecraft large and small, helping them reach their final destination. To do this, we are building in-space shuttles that carry satellites and spacecraft from the orbits that rockets leave them off in to where they need to operate in space. Our in-space shuttles are propelled by a revolutionary new type of water plasma rocket. No one has experimented with or built water plasma propulsion on the scale that we are, and so we are hiring to scale our company for continued success.


  • Implement supply chain strategies that increase efficiency and speed
  • Planning and scheduling for all vehicle part deliveries
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps
  • Focus on inventory, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives
  • Prepare and submit procurement, inventory, kit status and schedule reports to executive management
  • Develop inventory and warehouse functions
  • Place purchase orders for all parts and services required to build vehicle
  • Monitor and report on all open purchase orders
  • Negotiate lot size requirements with suppliers to provide continuous improvements
  • Communicate, status and resolve procurement issues with external suppliers
  • Support Master Supplier Agreement development and negotiations


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management and/ or APICS a plus
  • Experience in LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT procurement and supply chain management
  • 5 years experience in Master Schedule/Buyer role
  • Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices
  • Experience with ERP and MRP programs
  • In-depth understanding of material procurement, capacity planning, inventory analysis and advanced planning techniques of demand flow scheduling and vendor managed inventory
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, project management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
